Production Operator
2nd Shift
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 2:45 PM
11:15 PM Pay: Starting at $22/hour (for candidates with 3 years of relevant experience) Shift Premium: Additional $2.00/hour Position Overview
Seeking an experienced Production Operator for 2nd shift to support extrusion, mixing, and packaging processes. This position plays a key role in maintaining efficient production, ensuring quality standards, and adhering to safety procedures. Key Responsibilities
Extrusion
Operate production equipment safely and efficiently Perform equipment startups, shutdowns, and changeovers Set up and run machines according to procedures and specifications Monitor control panels and make necessary adjustments Remove, clean, and reinstall extruder die heads as part of setup Mixing
Operate mixers to blend raw materials (resins, chemicals, pigments, etc.) Verify and prepare materials for batching Load materials and process per detailed instructions Measure, weigh, and inspect materials Print and manage barcoded labels Packaging
Package and store finished products Conduct month-end inventory of packaging supplies Ensure correct labeling, weights, and compliance with customer specs Collect samples and coordinate with lab for quality checks General
Follow all safety and quality procedures Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Submit corrective/preventative action requests when needed Perform other tasks as assigned by the Shift Supervisor Qualifications & Skills
Minimum 3 years of experience in compounding or similar production environment High school diploma or equivalent preferred Authorized to work in the U.S. Forklift license Proficient with extruders, mixers, packaging equipment Familiarity with SI units and basic measurement conversions Comfortable with control systems, inventory software, and labeling tools Strong math, reading, and communication skills Willingness to work overtime when needed Reliable with a positive attitude Benefits
