Senior Manager, HR Business Partner
The Senior Manager, HR Business Partner serves as a strategic leader, providing HR guidance and support to senior leaders and their teams. As a trusted advisor, this role focuses on enhancing organizational effectiveness and driving business strategy execution through innovative human capital solutions. This role will work closely with the Neuromodulation division leaders and will also work closely with their respective COE partners and other functional colleagues across the BSC HR operating model, to support the execution of HR strategies. This is a defined term position for 12-18 months. At Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows a hybrid work model requiring employees to be in our Valencia, CA office at least three days per week. Boston Scientific will not offer sponsorship or take over sponsorship of an employment visa for this position at this time. Relocation assistance is not available for this position at this time. Your responsibilities will include: Design, develop, and execute organizational effectiveness initiatives, including assessments and action plans to address gaps and achieve strategic goals. Support annual strategic and operational planning processes through organizational insights, capability assessments, and workforce planning. Partner with COEs to deliver HR guidance and solutions in areas such as competency development, succession planning, talent management, recruitment, employee relations, engagement, change management, and process improvement. Provide consultation to management on issues affecting morale, performance, and organizational development, and recommend solutions to address root causes effectively. Direct ongoing HR needs to appropriate resources within the HR operating model to support business objectives. Identify and address gaps between current organizational capabilities and future strategic needs. Support strategic initiatives, including acquisitions and organizational transformations. Lead and influence change management efforts to enhance organizational performance and build human capital capabilities. Develop and maintain metrics, analytics, and reporting to support business and HR strategies. Collaborate with leadership to build a strong organizational culture that aligns with company values and drives engagement. Promote and support diversity, equity, and inclusion strategies to create an inclusive workplace. Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 7 years of experience in a progressive HR or related business environment. Experience working with senior leaders as an HR Business Partner. Willingness to travel up to 15%. Preferred qualifications: Proven ability to manage organizational change and development, ensuring successful execution. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build and maintain professional networks. Experience in designing and implementing talent management strategies tailored to organizational needs. Demonstrated commitment to building a culture of diversity and inclusion. Experience driving consistency in HR practices across a global organization. Strong business acumen with expertise in designing talent management and organizational effectiveness programs. Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-performance, and team-oriented environment. Strong decision-making skills and ability to resolve complex issues effectively. Previous or current experience with Boston Scientific is strongly preferred. Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs.
