Maintenance Technician Class A Weekends
What you will be responsible for: Ability to repair and maintain overhead bridge cranes Jib Cranes and other types of machinery require diagnosing and making solid recommendations to repair all equipment as needed. Must have knowledge in repairing, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems. Observe mechanical devices in operation and listen to the sounds to locate the cause of trouble. Perform monthly inspections on all production equipment and replacement parts; Confer with department managers to coordinate monthly inspections Examine form and texture of parts to detect imperfections; repair or replace defective parts; install special functional and structural parts in devices. Lubricate and clean parts. Start devices to test their performance. Operate overhead and jib cranes, operate industrial forklifts and man lifts. Visually inspects and tests machinery and equipment. Listen for unusual sounds from machines or equipment to detect malfunction and discuss machine operation variations with supervisors or other maintenance workers to diagnose problems or repair machines. Ability to dismantle defective machines and equipment and install new or repaired parts. Ability to install and repair electrical apparatus, such as transformers and wiring, and electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment. Layout, assembles, installs, and maintains pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, and repairs and replaces gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment. Ability to repair and maintain the physical structure of the establishment. Install, program, or repair automated machinery and equipment such as robots or programmable controllers. Operate cutting torch or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts. Fabricate and repair counters, benches, partitions, and other wooden structures. Regular attendance, ability to arrive at work punctually, ability to work on-site, ability to work overtime. Ability to work cooperatively with others, ability to deal respectfully with the public, customers, vendors, other employees, managers, and executive management. Ability to perform multiple tasks concurrently, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, ability to interchange with others in the department. COMPETENCY OR POSITION REQUIREMENTS (knowledge, skills, and abilities)
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematic drawing for pneumatic and hydraulic systems. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE (required levels)
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred; and minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial maintenance.
Hours: Ideal hours are 6AM-6PM, Friday-Sunday , Overtime may change the hours depending on production
Pay: $28 + Depending on Experience
