Hydraulic Mechanic
We are seeking a skilled hydraulic mechanic to inspect, diagnose, and repair hydraulic systems on trucks and heavy equipment. You will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and emergency repairs on various hydraulic components, such as pumps, valves, cylinders, hoses, and fittings. Your role will include troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues related to hydraulic systems and using diagnostic tools to assess performance and identify faults. Additionally, you will maintain accurate records of repairs and ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies. Responsibilities: Inspect, diagnose, and repair hydraulic systems on trucks and heavy equipment. Perform routine maintenance and emergency repairs on hydraulic components including pumps, valves, cylinders, hoses, and fittings. Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues related to hydraulic systems. Use diagnostic tools and equipment to assess system performance and identify faults. Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and service reports. Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies. Collaborate with other mechanics and service personnel to ensure timely and effective repairs. Keep work area clean and organized. Essential skills: Proficiency in hydraulics, valves, and hydraulic system assembly. Experience with diagnostic testing and troubleshooting of hydraulic systems. Ability to operate, test, and diagnose various hydraulic components. Experience in general truck repairs and engine accessories removal. Must own a roll-away tool cabinet and portable tool cart. Proficiency in mechanical assembly, pneumatics, schematic reading, and power tools. Additional skills & qualifications: Experienced hydraulic truck repair mechanic. Maintenance technician experience is a plus. Why work here?
