Senior Manager, Strategic Communications

The Senior Manager, Strategic Communications plays a critical role in advancing business objectives through strategic, creative, and impactful communication. This role is responsible for developing and executing integrated communication strategies that support sales enablement, change management, executive visibility, internal engagement, and external brand positioning. Acting as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, the individual gathers customer and field insights to shape messaging and champions best practices in content development, crisis communication, event strategy, and communication measurement. The ideal candidate is a collaborative, innovative communicator who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about driving clarity, alignment, and engagement across diverse stakeholder groups. What you will do: Develop and execute strategic internal and external communications that align with business goals and strengthen corporate reputation. Provide competitive, customer, and market insights to shape messaging, positioning, and sales enablement strategies. Partner with leadership to drive effective change management, M&A communications, and crisis/issues management. Create and manage high-quality content, including speeches, press releases, media responses, and executive messaging. Lead public relations efforts, including media engagement, event support, and high-visibility speaking opportunities. Build and optimize internal communications channels to connect employees and reinforce company culture. Deliver clear, engaging presentations and coach leaders and teams on effective communication practices. Ensure brand consistency across communications, advocating for guidelines and best practices. Measure communication effectiveness and continuously improve strategies, tools, and processes. Collaborate with global communications partners, agencies, and cross-functional teams to maximize impact. Executive presence and experience advising or supporting senior leaders. Writing and storytelling skills across formats (presentations, speeches, intranet, video scripts, etc.) What you will need: Required: Bachelor's degree required 10+ years of work experience required Preferred: MBA preferred 5 years of marketing AND/OR sales experience preferred 5 years of people management experience preferred 5 years of experience in medical device or healthcare industry preferred Experience leading communications in a matrixed or global organization preferred $129,600 - $286,500 salary plus bonus eligible + benefits.
