Mechanical Assembler

Join a dynamic team dedicated to building high-performance mechanical systems used across industrial, aerospace, and fluid control applications. As an assembler, you'll play a key role in producing and assembling components that meet exacting standards for quality and reliability. Responsibilities

Assemble mechanical and hydraulic components using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment. Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions to ensure accurate builds. Build pneumatic assemblies per instructions and drawings. Conduct inspections and functional tests to verify product integrity and performance. Test and label equipment. Troubleshoot and conduct re-work as necessary. Package finished products for shipment, ensuring compliance with safety and quality protocols. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to 5S and lean manufacturing principles. Essential Skills

Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for mechanical assembly. Ability to read schematics and interpret technical drawings and blueprints. Experience in mechanical assembly, hydraulics, and pneumatic systems. Competence in using basic machinery such as saws, drill press, tapping machine, and grinder. Manufacturing experience with knowledge of hydraulic equipment. Additional Skills & Qualifications

The work environment is a warehouse/shop setting with a shift schedule from Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. Employees are expected to maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety standards and lean manufacturing principles. Job Type & Location

This is a contract position based out of Bakersfield, California. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
