Turner & Townsend is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead large-scale public sector construction projects. This position requires deep expertise in design, construction, and operations, along with a proven track record of representing owners on complex municipal or infrastructure programs. The ideal candidate is a strategic, collaborative leader with strong communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills. The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the full project lifecycle, from pre-design through close-out, ensuring successful delivery of high-impact public sector construction initiatives. This role will serve as the primary point of contact between Turner & Townsend, contractors, consultants, and internal teams, driving alignment and accountability across all phases of project execution. This role requires working onsite at the client's facility in the Dunedin area three days per week. Responsibilities: Lead full lifecycle project management for public sector construction projects, from pre-design through close-out. Serve as the primary liaison between Turner & Townsend, clients, contractors, and consultants. Oversee project scope, budget, schedule, procurement, quality, and risk management. Develop and maintain detailed project plans, ensuring alignment with client goals and regulatory requirements. Facilitate regular client and stakeholder meetings, ensuring clear communication and timely issue resolution. Monitor project performance and implement corrective actions as needed. Manage change control processes and ensure documentation is current and accessible. Prepare and present progress reports, financial updates, and project documentation. Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety protocols, and environmental regulations. Coordinate with city agencies, utility providers, and permitting authorities to ensure timely approvals and compliance. Lead procurement efforts including RFP development, bid evaluations, and contract negotiations. Mentor junior project managers and contribute to team development and knowledge sharing. Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies tailored to public sector projects. Support sustainability and resilience initiatives in project planning and execution. Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure project success and client satisfaction. Identify opportunities to improve project management procedures, tools, and templates. SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable. Qualifications

Able and willing to work onsite at the client's facility in the Dunedin area at least three days per week. 10+ years of project management experience in public works, municipal infrastructure, or related sectors. Proven ability to lead complex design and construction projects, including parks, civic buildings, infrastructure upgrades, and ground-up developments. Strong strategic advisory skills during project conception and planning phases. Exceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder management capabilities. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, MS Project, and project management software; familiarity with contracts and construction documentation. Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications, and develop RFPs and contracts. Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field. Professional certifications such as CCM or PMP are preferred. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities independently. Experience working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with demanding stakeholders.
