Home Health Aide (HHA)
We are seeking a skilled, patient, and compassionate Home Health Aide (HHA) to provide one-on-one care for an adult client living with a traumatic brain injury (TBI). This individual requires daily support with personal care, mobility, routine activities, and therapeutic engagement in a home setting. Key Responsibilities:
Assist with personal care needs (bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming) Provide mobility and transfer assistance, including use of adaptive equipment Prepare meals and assist with feeding, following any dietary guidelines Support therapy exercises and structured routines Engage the client in safe, stimulating activities to promote cognitive and emotional well-being Monitor and report changes in behavior, mood, or condition Provide light housekeeping and medication reminders Work collaboratively with family members and clinical support team Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Current Massachusetts HHA certification (or CNA with HHA experience) Prior experience working with clients with TBI, neurological conditions, or behavioral challenges (preferred) Strong communication skills and emotional intelligence Patience, reliability, and the ability to maintain calm under pressure Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (if travel is needed) CPR and First Aid certification (preferred but not required) Ability to follow care plans and communicate effectively with care managers/family What We Offer:
