Summary:

The

Production Engineering Department

is seeking a

Mechanical Designer

that will be responsible for drawing, modeling, and designing projects from the Sales, Engineering and R&D Groups. The candidate will have the opportunity to work on a variety of tasks and provide support on production-related matters which include but are not limited to applying Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing for manufacturing processes for both sheet metal, CNC machining, and grinding standards.

Qualifications Mechanical Technology/CAD Design Degree (Minimum Requirement) Efficient in 2D and 3D modeling (Required) Math: Geometry, Trigonometry, Algebra and Physics (Required) Good computer skills Must be a self-starter with effective communication skills Desire to learn, and desire to advance the department's performance output Positive Attitude Desire to work on a team Practical experience in manufacturing a plus: Machining, Welding, Electrical-Mechanical Assembly Responsibilities

Create 2D drawings (AutoCAD) and 3D models (Inventor) Work with new designs and modifications to existing designs Drawing revision control Engineering support to Derrick Manufacturing (entire Shop)
