You will work for the largest renewable construction company in the world working under limited direction of the Solar Regional Lead Project Manager as business and project support. This is a progressive role that offers opportunity for career growth. Daily activities can include, but are not limited to: Primary responsibility is to take ownership of and work independently to actively manage multiple assigned Solar projects through the Early-Stage process in preparation for turnover to the Construction team. Daily management of each assigned Solar project is all-encompassing. With limited direction you are responsible for delivering a technically feasible, schedule appropriate, commercially supported, and financially viable project. Analyze technical and financial data, extrapolate notable variables, indicators, and trends as related to the assigned Solar projects as well as integrate broader Market impacts as directed by the Regional Lead. Support in the creation of, take ownership over, and actively manage assigned Solar project capital budget. Serve as development and permitting support, coordinate with and leverage subject matter experts, facilitate Engineering, actively engage in problem resolution, proactively manage your capital budget thru approvals, develop a viable construction plan/schedule, negotiate and execute on commercial contracts, investigate optimization opportunities. Engage in a variety of software applications to support your activities, manage critical data and deliverables as well as report on key indicators. You may be asked to support the larger Early-Stage team with process and efficiency initiatives. Communicate and interface with Executive Leadership, Suppliers, Regulatory Agencies, Local Communities, and other stakeholders. This position assists in the overall management of assigned projects, to ensure compliance within required budgetary, scheduling, and safety goals. Employees in this role support construction work performed by contractors and/or vendors at the project site. Assesses productivity, schedule compliance, work quality, and safety performance on assigned projects Participates in walk downs of planned work, validates acceptance of completed work to design requirements, and reviews contractor payment requests Verifies constructability, ensures proper resource allocation, assesses field status, and resolves issues as needed Coordinates project activities with vendors, suppliers, regulatory agencies, local community officials and the company Assists in scope control, budget oversight, resolution of technical issues, performance reporting, scheduling, and work-in-progress Interfaces with landowners, local regulators and state agencies Reinforces expectations related to safety, procedure compliance, lessons learned, corrective action and appropriate work behaviors for employees and contractor staff Coordinates activities or groups such as safety programs, engineering, construction, budget, analysis and contract administration Interfaces with project's designated management committee Performs other job-related duties as assigned Bachelor's or Equivalent Experience
