Job Description:
Standard janitorial duties, cleaning bathrooms, cleaning breakrooms, collecting trash around the outside of the building, stocking bathrooms with toiletries and soap, emptying trash cans around the warehouse, helping clean up product spills, cleaning offices, windows, etc. Stand-up Forklift operation is required to take larger loads of trash out to the dumpster. Ideally, we would like someone who can work without constant supervision, someone who can be given some general guidelines on the job and then be trusted to accomplish those tasks.
They have a write-up system for accountability. Associates can receive a write-up for making mistakes on orders or not performing up to expectations. If you receive 3 in a day, you will be sent home, but you are able to return the next day with a clean slate. Again, this is not a negative action, it is more to measure performance and hold people accountable.
Hours:
M-F 8a-5p with occasional OT. Doors open at 7:45.
Dress code : We do not require steel toe boots or pants. The warehouse does get cold so they should dress warm in the winter. We also have a freezer here so it's a good idea to bring a jacket or overalls. Other than that, basic stuff, no obscene t shirts or overly revealing clothing.
Length of assignment:
Evaluation hire depending on job performance, attitude, and attendance
Pay Rate : $17.00/hr. Dollar raise once they are hired on.
