This position sits within the Power Generation Division which is responsible for all of NextEra Energy's non-nuclear generation operations, exceeding 40,000 megawatts (MW) of installed capacity. This position will be based out of the Hickerson Solar site in the Clifton, TX area. The intended employee will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of solar PV collection assemblies, battery energy storage, AC/DC inverters on multiple solar power plants to achieve safe, efficient, and environmentally sound plant operations. In this role, an employee will maintain all tools, shops, vehicles, and all work locations in a safe and efficient condition, provide inspections of watch, electrical, mechanical, and electronic trouble shooting for a solar arrays and inverters. Inspection is performed daily for fluid system breaches, mechanical component breakage or misalignment, and electrical component failures preventing inverters from producing grid power. A candidate would be responsible for supporting teammates in nearby states in the region, and maintaining reliability, operations and maintenance for sites assigned area. High School Grad / GED Experience: 1+ years Valid Driver's License (NON CDL) Preferred Qualifications
Trade School Graduate Licensed Electrician Licensed Master Electrician Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certified
