Job Description Salary: $24-26/hour SUMMARY: Performs varies functions related to inventory control including shipping, receiving, and cycle counting. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Package and ship product according to customer instructions, contracts, and relevant Mil-Std requirements. Receive incoming purchase orders and verify product to pack slips. Maintains materials inventory and other stock records. Appropriately handle sensitive, controlled, and/or delicate materials (ESD, ITAR, ATF). Perform cycle counts and physical inventory. Kit material for work orders and issue to the floor. Effectively use ERP system to record all transactions. Maintains a working knowledge of safety policies and regulations to ensure safe performance of duties. Other duties as assigned. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, or governmental regulations. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and customers, both internal and external. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. REASONING SKILLS Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to perform detailed work and to troubleshoot accounting problems. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS APICS certification a plus. Certification or willingness to receive certification as a forklift operator. Revision 2021 COMPUTER SKILLS Good general knowledge of common computer applications. Experience with ERP/MRP and/or MS Office preferred. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is in a both a warehouse and production floor environment. The employee is regularly exposed to work near moving mechanical parts and risk of electrical shock. The employee will be exposed to outside weather on occasion. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The employee may be exposed to laser and HAZMAT hazards.
