Intensive Prevention Services (IPS) Program Assistant

to join their team! The

IPS Program Assistant

will transport children and youth to programming, assist with IPS program delivery, and assist in planning and organization of violence prevention programming in the IPS PAVE program. This

Part-time

position is between 15-18 hours per week. Two schedules to choose from: Option 1:

Mondays - Wednesdays from 2:30 PM - 7:30 PM Option 2:

Mon. & Wed. from 2:30 - 7:30 PM and Tuesdays & Thursdays from 2:00 - 4:30 PM Earlier hours from 12:30 - 6:00 PM offered for the Summer and can be discussed with the Supervisor Pay rate

IPS Program Assistant

your duties will include: •Transport children and youth between school or home and CORA Services offices in Northeast Philadelphia for after-school programming •Assist IPS Counselors/Case Manager in program activities •Research and plan anti-violence and trauma related workshops, contractors, trips, and activities for the IPS PAVE program •Plan and participate in anti-violence related community events •Research and coordinate anti-violence related trainings for IPS team •Order and track inventory of IPS program food and supplies •Mentor IPS youth •Maintain open communication with IPS program staff •Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Program Administrator EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: •High School Diploma (or equivalent) QUALIFICATIONS: •Current, valid PA driver license and clean driving record, required •Must be dependable •Experience with at-risk youth, preferred •Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other staff members, clients, visitors, and personnel from other agencies and related centers •Flexibility in work hours, preferred CORA Services Inc. provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religious creed, sex, national origin, age, disability or genetics.
