Senior FP&A Manager

to serve as the strategic finance lead for one or more business units. This highly visible role functions as the finance partner for senior leadership-working closely with product, strategy, and go-to-market teams to drive sustainable growth, operational efficiency, and informed decision-making. The position will own financial strategy, long-range planning, and performance analysis for its assigned verticals, playing a critical role in shaping business direction through data-driven insights. While initially structured as an individual contributor role, this opportunity is designed to grow into people leadership responsibilities. Key Responsibilities Act as the primary finance partner for assigned vertical(s), leading forecasting, planning, reporting, and full P&L management. Provide variance analysis, identify trends, and deliver strategic recommendations to senior leadership. Develop a deep understanding of product economics and key business drivers; partner closely with product, GTM, and G&A leaders to align initiatives with financial objectives. Build advanced financial models to support new offerings, pricing strategies, investment prioritization, and market expansion. Own and improve SaaS performance metrics (e.g., Magic Number, MER, CAC, LTV, Time to Value) while working with revenue leadership to optimize pricing and go-to-market strategies. Lead customer-level and cohort analytics, business reviews, and executive presentations, providing actionable insights to drive growth. Advance financial systems and planning infrastructure, including long-range forecasting models and self-service reporting (Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Adaptive Insights, Excel). Prepare board- and investor-ready materials highlighting performance, strategy, and priorities. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred. 8+ years of progressive FP&A experience, ideally in SaaS or technology-driven environments. Proven success influencing executives and driving cross-functional alignment. Expertise in FP&A best practices, advanced financial modeling, and operational KPI analysis. Proficiency in SQL, Power BI, and Tableau; experience with ERP/EPM tools (NetSuite, Adaptive Insights). Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting. Self-directed, with outstanding prioritization, executive communication, and storytelling skills. Demonstrated ability to own processes, improve infrastructure, and scale financial operations.
