Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Chief Financial Officer Celebrating 75 years as a non-profit provider of services to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, Onondaga County Arc of Onondaga is seeking to fill the position of Chief Financial Officer. Summary of Responsibilities : Establishing the agency's financial planning and accounting policies and procedures Overseeing and managing cash flow, agency investments, financial audits, audit controls, relationships with lending institutions, financial reporting, insurance levels, and regulatory compliance Serving as a part of the agency's executive management team, working closely with the Executive Director and other key staff to establish and fulfill overall agency goals Overseeing and developing agency operating and capital budgets in collaboration with management Managing financial reporting of the Arc of Onondaga Foundation Establishing and maintaining relationships with senior administrators of funding sources and ensuring all required financial documentation and reports are maintained Applying resourceful interpersonal negotiation and communication skills to handle complex and/or sensitive issues with diverse stakeholders Supervising senior management staff as assigned Requirements for Position : Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related business field 5-10 years of non-profit accounting and financial management experience Combination of education and experience deemed equivalent by the employer CPA certification preferred OPWDD experience preferred Enjoy a Variety of Benefits : Work-life balance in a family-friendly organization Paid holidays, vacation, sick, and personal time Medical, dental, and vision insurance Employer-funded Health Savings Account 401(k) plan with employer match Enhanced employer-paid short- and long-term disability insurance plans Employer-paid life insurance Required Experience :
