The Opportunity: CACI is seeking a dedicated individual with expertise in the design and installation of shipboard network-based CCTV systems. The role involves working in a shipboard environment, collaborating with OEMs, marine engineers, and industrial assistance. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the installation and commissioning of network-based CCTV security systems, with opportunities to contribute to future system designs.
Responsibilities:
Support CCTV system design, development, and proof of concepts in the Washington DC region.
Travel up to 25% domestically and internationally for deployment, installation, and testing.
Oversee installation of servers, switches, monitors, UPS systems, and PC hardware in shipboard environments.
Evaluate shipboard environments for equipment installation.
Install and oversee installation of equipment and cables.
Perform onsite testing and troubleshooting of hardware and software issues.
Coordinate equipment logistics.
Cybersecurity experience is a plus.
Qualifications: Required:
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
At least 5 years of experience supporting technical programs as a field engineer, with relevant system expertise.
Experience with shipboard CCTV systems and compliance with ABS and USCG regulations.
Knowledge of IP services: TCP/IP, UDP, ICMP, PPP, SIP.
Experience with CAT5-5E, CAT6, Fiber Optic cables, and connectors.
Familiarity with Windows and Unix operating systems.
Proficiency in VISIO and MS Office.
Physical ability to perform tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds.
Desired:
Active Secret or higher clearance.
Degree in Information Systems, IT, or Networking.
Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, or security-related certifications.
Experience with Cisco routers, switches, UPS, and power systems.
