Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('Versant') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. Job Description
NBCUniversal Chicago is seeking a senior producer for the Multi-Platform Content Department. The candidate will be embedded with a small team of content creators serving the Chicago triopoly across all platforms: Linear, OTT, FAST, digital, and audio. The department is dedicated to creating and disseminating premium content that meets the needs of our viewers and communities from an editorial perspective, while also servicing partners through an integrated sales approach.
The ideal candidate must have strong ability to develop their own stories, both long and short form. They should be capable of leading larger projects independently and have experience producing integrated content and working with advertorial partners to execute premium content.
Qualifications
Professional editing skills in Adobe Premiere
Professional knowledge of DSLR Cameras
At least 5-7 years of producing broadcast and streaming content
Ability to understand project scope and creative briefs, and independently manage projects
Experience collaborating with external clients on integrated content and internal sales teams to meet client goals
Ability to develop concepts from start to finish, including pre-production, ideation, dissemination, and publication
Eligibility Requirements:
