Responsibilities include tasks related to electrical, plumbing, air conditioning, heating, and other trades within a commercial building. Daily duties involve working with the property management team to perform preventive maintenance, respond to service tickets, and ensure a safe environment for tenants and visitors. COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS : 27 to $29 per hour based on experience Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance Paid time off 401K, after the initial work probation period Uniforms and cell phone reimbursement available at hire Annual bonus based on performance PRIMARY BUILDING ENGINEER RESPONSIBILITIES : Perform building and systems inspections, making necessary modifications Complete preventive and corrective maintenance requests professionally Coordinate with vendors to complete work orders Maintain records, reports, and evaluations, providing recommendations for building maintenance Order parts, materials, equipment, and supplies as needed Manage Building Management System (BMS) / Energy Management System (EMS) as directed Maintain cleanliness of engineering shop, mechanical plant, and rooms Follow all safety rules and regulations Perform related work as required QUALIFICATIONS : 3-5 years of experience maintaining equipment and systems in commercial buildings Demonstrated mechanical skills with HVAC equipment Experience in operating, troubleshooting, maintaining, installing, and repairing equipment Basic technology skills for managing work order applications and operating Building Automation Systems High School diploma or equivalent; effective communication in English Occasional overtime work for repairs or maintenance during off-hours Ability to lift 50 lbs., walk distances, kneel for 1 hour, and climb ladders Reliable transportation Ability to pass drug screening, background, and government security checks Possess a CFC Universal certification
