Delaware North Sportservice is seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead operations at KeyBank Center in Buffalo, New York—home to the NHL’s Buffalo Sabres, the NLL’s Buffalo Bandits, and host to a wide array of year-round events. Minimum – Anticipated Maximum Base Salary: $104,100 – $140,500 / year In addition to base salary, we offer an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. Directly supervise unit management and oversee supervision of team members including, recruitment, hiring, training, development, and promotion Determine and control staffing levels to maximize net returns to the client while maintaining satisfactory guest service levels Prepare and present operational recommendations that drive exceptional services and quality products for guests including innovative service styles and emerging technology enhancements through understanding relevant market conditions and shared best practices Leverage data and analytics to determine operational and pricing strategies that drive shared profit growth Work collaboratively with all parties on technology, design, and layout of food, beverage locations Verify, prepare, and submit reports and monthly projections as required as well as ensure effective systems for ordering, inventory, and payroll procedures are in place Maintain knowledge of labor/union issues and best practices to promote positive labor relations. Initiate capital budget to replace, repair or remodel equipment and facilities Project Management duties as assigned Accountable for establishing and maintaining proper safety and sanitation procedures as well as ensuring proper repair and maintenance of food service and retail equipment Ensure operation follows company policies and procedures Develop and manage all vendor relationships Ability to communicate with various levels within the organization Ensure unit compliance with federal, state, local, and company regulations regarding the sale of alcohol, PCI, OSHA, payroll, and employment and EEO guidelines More about you

Minimum of 7-10 years of management experience in the contract food service industry, encompassing concessions, premium services, and catering in a sports and entertainment venue Experience working in a union environment, understanding, and managing through a CBA is highly preferred Operational financial management accountability and budgeting experience Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or similar Prior project management experience is preferred Strong commitment to customer and client relationships, integrity, leadership, and team-building skills with an authentic approach Shift details
