Our Value Engineering team is expanding and actively seeking a Lead Value Engineer to join our team. As a Lead Value Engineer, you will collaborate with our sales account teams to create and develop business cases derived from a value-based methodology. About the Role: As a Value Engineer, you will lead moderate-sized initiatives to identify, quantify, and communicate the value delivered by our SaaS solutions to customers and internal stakeholders. You will serve as a trusted advisor, translating complex technical and business requirements into actionable value frameworks that drive product adoption, customer satisfaction, and revenue growth. Key Responsibilities: Conduct value discovery sessions with prospects & customers. Capture customer objectives and ensure outcomes are documented to demonstrate quantifiable business value. Collaborate closely with sales, product management, marketing, and customer success teams to quantify and articulate value propositions for diverse customer segments. Conduct detailed data analysis, cost-benefit evaluations, and business case modeling to demonstrate ROI and support customer decision-making. Develop compelling value presentations, demos, and documentation tailored to technical and executive audiences. Mentor and support junior value engineers and team members in best practices and methodologies. Continuously improve value engineering processes, frameworks, and tools to adapt to evolving SaaS business models and market demands. Monitor and measure realized value post-sale to drive continuous improvement and customer retention. Qualifications Required Skills and Competencies: 5+ years of experience in value engineering, financial analysis, or related fields within SaaS or tech companies. Strong discovery skills: expert in gathering and synthesizing data, understanding customer needs and usage patterns. Advanced solutioning skills: capable of designing innovative value propositions and modeling scenarios aligned with customer goals. Operational excellence: ability to manage projects efficiently, maintain high-quality deliverables, and incorporate feedback. Proficiency with data analysis tools for quantitative and qualitative assessment. Excellent communication skills to present complex information clearly and persuasively. Collaborative mindset and experience working in cross-functional teams. Ability to influence and build relationships at all organizational levels. Additional Qualifications: Experience with SaaS business models, cloud technologies, and subscription revenue metrics. Familiarity with financial valuation, pricing strategies, and contract negotiation support. Experience mentoring or leading junior engineers or analysts. Bachelor’s or higher degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, or related field. Additional Information: The annual base salary range for this position is

$128,000 - $160,000 USD + Variable Compensation . Compensation depends on location, experience, skills, and level. Equity may be available.
