The spin-off is expected to be completed during 2025. PLEASE NOTE: This is a project-based position with an estimated duration of 18 months, unless otherwise amended or terminated as deliverables are completed. As a NBC Sports Programming Coordinator, you will be responsible for: NBC Sports NOW programming setup
Create IDs for all content airing on NBC Sports NOW FAST channel Ensure content has correct metadata/artwork and place Linear Work Orders to deliver content to platform Manage and organize VOD schedules for daily shows Coordinate, request, and build artwork/marketing assets (Photoshop experience is a plus)
Assist in building out longer-term programming plans and developing new programming ideas Understand and track data on and off platform NBC Sports NOW operations Understand linear schedules, live events, and daily studio schedules; make real-time changes as needed Coordinate details between Production and Operations Track ad break formats for livestream operators Work with partners to bring content to Peacock and NBC Sports NOW Support programming changes, cancellations, weather delays, and operational issues on weekends Additional responsibilities Collaborate with Peacock Sports Programming team for Live Events accuracy and support Basic Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience At least 1+ year of experience (including internships) Proficient in Excel & PowerPoint Desired Qualifications: Strong organizational skills Ability to prioritize and multitask Excellent computer skills and adaptability to new systems Knowledge of NBC Sports portfolio and other sports content Understanding of Peacock/NBC Sports formats (Live, Replays, Talk Shows, VOD, Short Form) Willingness to submit to a background check Unrestricted work authorization in the US Must be 18+ years old This position is hybrid, requiring a minimum of three days per week in the office.
