Senior Engineer, Quality Assurance in our

Healdsburg, CA facility. We are looking for a dedicated professional who thrives in challenging environments. Our QA department focuses on process controls, metrics measurements, test witnessing, and inspecting & verification of hardware with software elements. As the QA engineer, you will be responsible for program and several site level Quality Assurance functions. This position is open immediately and offers a highly competitive salary and benefits package. This position is an exempt, non-supervisory, full-time position. Responsibilities & Duties Oversee and contribute to continuously improving the Quality Management System (QMS), and drive thesite towards ISO9001/AS9100 compliance Provide QA support for the development and production of computer aided gimbal products in our NewProductIntroduction/Prototypingfacility.Theseproductsincludehardwareandsoftwareelements. Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback. Monitor, audit and provide performance reporting on the production of deliverable hardware and software products. Investigate non-conformances and lead root cause analyses using quality tools (FMEA, 8D, CAPA . Track quality assurance metrics, including but not limited to, non-conformances, bug reports andcorrective action implementation activities. Witness and verify regression testing and product acceptance testing. Monitor and review quarterly supplier performance data. Createanddocumentinspectionplansforincomingmaterialandin-processassemblies.Provide inspectiondataandqualityassurance reports toseniormanagement Provide program managers and engineers with necessary data to make informed decisions. Lead continuous improvement initiatives across operations, quality and production Develop and support quality documentation, Production Part Approval Processes, Standard OperatingProcedures, and Test Plans Facilitate Program level MRB meetings and resolve quality issues using the TipQA Database. $126,000/yr to $137,000/yr;
