Overview As part of our client's broader initiative to build a more mature and robust security practice, we are establishing a comprehensive Security Engineering program. This program aims to cultivate a security-first mindset throughout our organization, embedding robust security practices into every aspect of our technology infrastructure and development lifecycle.

Our Infrastructure Security Engineering team is a critical component of this program, responsible for consulting, designing, and implementing secure infrastructure solutions that protect our systems, data, and customers, as well as coordinating with Information Security and Privacy. As a member of this team, you will play a key role in helping us achieve our goal of building a world-class security practice that enables us to deliver secure and reliable experiences for our fans.

The Opportunity As a key member of our Infrastructure Security Engineering team, you will be at the forefront of our security transformation, cultivating a security-first mindset throughout our organization. Your mission is to liaise with Information Security and Privacy to ensure the successful delivery of security initiatives, embedding robust security practices into our infrastructure design and implementation. We believe security is a continuous journey, starting at the earliest stages of development and infrastructure planning. You will champion a ShiftLeft approach, integrating security seamlessly into our infrastructure lifecycle and leveraging purple team dynamics to foster a proactive security culture that anticipates, derisks, and mitigates threats before they materialize.

Responsibilities

Liaise and coordinate with the parent company’s Information Security team to ensure consistent and effective security programs, policies, and procedures applied to Ticketmaster Infrastructure.

Ensure security controls and measures are implemented systematically and confidently.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security into all aspects of our technology infrastructure.

Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify security risks.

Develop and implement remediation plans to address identified security risks.

Stay up-to-date with emerging security threats and technologies, including cloud security, open source, and vendor solutions, applying this knowledge to enhance our security posture.

Technical Skills

5+ years of experience in information security, with at least 2 years in an engineering role.

Strong background in infrastructure, cloud, and network security architecture.

Experience with IAM, log aggregation, and SIEM systems.

Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating complex security concepts to diverse audiences.

Basic programming or scripting skills in languages such as Golang, Rust, Python, PowerShell, or similar.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field; advanced degrees or certifications (CISSP, CISM, etc.) are preferred.

Visionary mindset with the ability to anticipate and prepare for emerging threats.

Strong problem-solving skills and creative thinking regarding infrastructure security challenges.

Collaborative approach, experienced in working across departments to embed security into all infrastructure aspects.

Passion for staying current with security trends, tools, and methodologies.

Experience designing and implementing secure infrastructure in cloud and on-premises environments.

Experience with Agile, Scrum, and SAFe methodologies is a plus.

Experience in the entertainment or ticketing industry is a plus.
