Understand Business Needs:Partner with Payroll, Finance, and Total Rewards teams to identify business challenges, goals, and requirements. Capture and Prioritize Requirements:Clearly document business needs through user stories and use cases. Evaluate and rank requests based on impact, feasibility, ROI, and compliance considerations. Design Effective Solutions:Convert business requirements into technical specifications. Explore standard configuration options and recommend customizations or enhancements when necessary. Drive Implementation:Collaborate with IT to build, test, and launch solutions. Coordinate with business teams to validate outcomes and ensure alignment with objectives. Manage Projects and Demand:Oversee project planning and prioritization. Track progress and maintain clear communication throughout the project lifecycle. Facilitate Collaboration:Bridge communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders. Articulate system capabilities to business teams and translate their needs to technical teams. Stay Current:Keep up with Workday innovations and trends. Proactively suggest system improvements and new features. Requirements
5+ years of experience designing and implementing Payroll applications in fast-growing environments. 5+ years of hands-on Workday experience, including configuration, business process customization, reporting, and integrations. Strong understanding of Payroll and Absence Management best practices. Proven ability to simplify complex business needs into actionable plans, with resilience in navigating ambiguity and project challenges. Excellent interpersonal skills for building strong relationships with business and technical teams. Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a passion for data analysis and problem-solving. Able to leverage organizational knowledge to drive project success. Willingness to take on additional responsibilities and dive into the details to support team goals. Familiarity with Agile methodologies. Awareness of enterprise data security and compliance standards. Preferred: Workday certifications. Preferred: Consulting experience.
