We are seeking an Orthopedic Surgeon for a 10-day locum tenens assignment beginning Nov 10, 2025, in Texas. The role demands proficiency in ortho-trauma surgeries, including pelvic and acetabulum operations and hand injury treatments. Coverage includes 24-hour call shifts from a hotel with a 30-minute response time and clinic duties 2 mornings a week.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Perform all required surgical procedures for trauma and emergency cases, specializing in orthopedic trauma.
  • Manage a case load of 12-25 patients during clinic hours, supported by an APP.
  • Ensure timely response and availability during on-call shifts.
  • Utilize Epic for EMR management.


Additional Information

  • Must be board certified in Orthopaedic Surgery.
  • Valid Texas medical license required.
  • Minimum of 1-3 years experience in ortho-trauma surgeries.
  • No additional MD/DO coverage; APP support available for 10 hours daily.
