DESCRIPTION:
Job Title: CVICU Registered Nurse (RN)
Location: Glenwood Springs, CO 81601
Department: Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) / Critical Care
Employment Type: Full-Time/Contract (13 weeks)
Shift: 12-hour Day Shift (including weekend rotation)

Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized nursing care in the CVICU and CCU environments
• Participate in the call rotation , with one call shift per two-week period (in accordance with hospital pay schedule)
• Support cardiac cath lab procedures and post-op care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain documentation and communication in accordance with hospital policies and protocols

Requirements:

• Active Colorado RN license in good standing
• Minimum 3 years of Critical Care RN experience required
• Strong CVICU skills and Day 0 CVICU experience required
• BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association)
• Willingness to float to CCU and participate in weekend/call rotations.
