Job Title: MachinistJob DescriptionAs a Machinist, you will operate and set up a variety of machine tools, such as lathes, mills, grinders, and drills, to produce high-precision metal or plastic parts. You will interpret technical drawings and blueprints to understand part specifications and ensure accuracy.ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate machine tools to produce precision parts.Read and interpret blueprints and specifications.Select and install appropriate cutting tools and determine speeds and feeds.Measure and inspect parts using precision measuring instruments to ensure they meet required dimensions and tolerances.Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines, reporting any mechanical issues.Inspect finished parts for quality control before they are sent to the next stage.Modify and adjust machine settings to optimize performance and correct tolerances.Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues, including tool wear and machine malfunctions.Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.Essential SkillsExperience with CNC, lathe, and mill operations.Strong troubleshooting skills.Proficiency in machine setup and operation.Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.Familiarity with precision measuring tools.Experience with CNC machines, specifically Fanuc brand.Knowledge of Haas and Hwacheon machines, as well as g-code and m-code programming.Additional Skills & QualificationsA great attitude and willingness to learn.Strong measuring skills and proficiency in blueprint reading.Why Work Here?Join a growing company with over two years of steady work and opportunities to learn about different types of machines.
