Position Overview: You will be responsible for welding and fabrication of custom weldments.What You'll Do:Read fabrication blueprintsAccurately read measuring instrumentsFabricate custom weldments per print using both wire welding and stick welding processesDemonstrate proficiency with both oxy-fuel and plasma-cutting processesDemonstrate safe welding and shop practicesOther tasks as definedWhat You'll Bring:Able to operate standard hand tools including grinders, drills, impact tools, floor-mounted grinders, drill press, etc.Able to lay out and set up various pipe transitions including elbows, "T" joints, and lateralsAble to acquire the knowledge necessary to operate the various automated welding machinesDrive forkliftOperate overhead and jib cranesAbility to work with others on larger projects2 years of previous welding experience
