Cnc Operator - 1st Shift - $22/hr

The machine operator is responsible for loading materials into cnc vertical mills, monitoring machine operations, deburring parts, and performing quality checks to ensure high standards of production. Responsibilities include converting raw materials into finished products, meeting standardized production times, monitoring part quality, and identifying rejects. Additional duties may be assigned.

Essential skills required include proficiency in cnc operations, especially on vertical mills, experience with calipers, micrometers, and blueprint reading, and the ability to set up and operate cnc machines, specifically haas models. Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort working in a manufacturing environment are also necessary.

Additional skills and qualifications include the ability to read tape measures accurately, general use of air and hand tools, and the ability to use required personal protective equipment. The candidate should be able to stand or walk throughout the duration of the shift and lift up to 50 lbs. Willingness to work overtime based on business needs is also required.

Work in a manufacturing setting with advanced machinery including vmc/vertical machining centers, haas tl series lathe, and 3 axis vertical cnc milling centers. Shift work may be required, and proper personal protective equipment must be worn at all times.

The pay range for this position is $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
