Van Driver For Department Of Biological Sciences

The Department of Biological Sciences needs to hire van drivers to drive UNH vans or UNH rented vans for department field trips associated with course work.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with the department manager and course instructor for pickup and return of keys, first aid kits & vans.
  • Report in a timely manner to ensure the vans are ready to pick students up as scheduled.
  • Drive to/from designated field trip locations.
  • Fuel vehicle at UNH fuel point before returning van-use department FOB and driver's card.
  • Remove all trash before returning vehicle.
  • Report any vehicle issues/malfunctions to manager/UNH garage.

Requirements

  • Minimum Acceptable Education & Experience:
    • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Required Licenses & Certifications:
    • Valid motor vehicle driver's license.
    • Valid UNH MVC check.
    • Valid UNH Defensive Drivers Course (DDC): Defensive Driving Strategies: Get There Safely.
    • Valid Driver Safety Fundamentals-HE course.
