Job Summary:
As an IT Technical Support Specialist, you will be the frontline of technical assistance, ensuring our employees have seamless access to the tools and systems they need to excel. You'll troubleshoot hardware and software issues, manage IT assets, and support mission-critical operations in a fast-paced, high-compliance manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and other peripherals
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues in a timely and professional manner
• Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, applications, and security updates
• Support ERP systems, CAD software, and specialized aerospace manufacturing tools
• Maintain accurate records of support requests, resolutions, and asset inventory
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure IT systems meet operational needs
• Assist with onboarding/offboarding processes including account setup and equipment provisioning
• Monitor system performance and escalate complex issues to senior IT staff or vendors
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity protocols and data protection policies
• Participate in IT projects such as system upgrades, migrations, and infrastructure improvements

Requirements:
• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
• 2+ years of experience in technical support or help desk roles, preferably in a manufacturing or aerospace setting
• Proficiency with Windows OS, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and remote support tools
• Familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and basic server administration
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SyteLine, SAP, Oracle) and CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) is a plus
• IT certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft, etc.) are desirable
