We are seeking a highly motivated Corporate Accountant to support our expanding corporate accounting operations. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to both day-to-day accounting functions and high-impact special projects in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
Position Summary
The Staff Accountant will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the companys financial reporting. This position requires strong technical accounting skills, sound judgment, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. The successful candidate will demonstrate a high level of professionalism, attention to detail, and a commitment to continuous improvement. Prior experience in the property management and corporate sectors is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities

• Perform full-cycle accounting duties, including preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance
• Reconcile bank and credit card accounts monthly, ensuring timely resolution of discrepancies
• Assist with monthly and quarterly financial closings, internal reporting, and audit preparation
• Support the Controller and senior leadership with ad hoc financial analyses and project-based work
• Maintain accurate and organized financial records in compliance with internal policies and external regulations
• Collaborate with property management and operations teams to ensure alignment of accounting processes and reporting needs
• Participate in the development and implementation of improved accounting procedures and internal controls
• Assist in the onboarding and integration of new accounting tools and software as needed
  

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or property management setting
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop is required
• Familiarity with RealPage or Yardi is Preferred
• Microsoft Office proficiency is required
• Solid understanding of financial reporting best practices
• Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively across departments
• Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision
• Team-oriented mindset with a desire to learn and grow within the organization
• Willingness to train others
