Job Description:

The Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining accurate and organized financial records, with a strong focus on accounts payable, accounts receivable, daily entries, and reconciliations. This role requires experience with accounting software, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to support month-end processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Record bank deposits, bills, and commissions accurately in QuickBooks

Review and upload commission statements for internal processing

Reconcile commissions between internal systems

Prepare and distribute payments, including printing and mailing checks and initiating ACH transfers

Review the general ledger and assist with monthly allocations by class

Investigate and resolve data discrepancies in system integrations

Support month-end close processes and financial reconciliations

Qualifications:

3+ years of accounting or finance experience, with a focus on AP/AR and reconciliations

Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting software

Strong accuracy and problem-solving skills

High attention to detail and the ability to identify and correct errors efficiently

Organized, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a team-oriented environment

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
