Senior Accountant

Cordia Resources by Cherry Bekaert has partnered with a services firm in the Loop in Chicago, IL searching for a Sr. Accountant to help with catch up/clean up work.
The role will be required to be on site, 5 days per week in Chicago near the Willis Tower.
Candidate will be responsible for:

• General Ledger activities
• Bank reconciliations
• Credit card reconciliations
• Catch up / clean up to support closing out 2024 financials
• Trial balances
• Other GL activities as required

Candidate should have the following background:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or similar role
• 7+ years of general ledger experience, ideally with a small-midsized company (under $100 million in revenue)
• Strong ERP experience in NetSuite, Intacct, or similarly sized software package
• Excel experience - especially with pivottables
• Ability to get into Chicago to work on a daily basis
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work closely with CFO to get work done effectively
