Maintenance Electrician/Mechanic

Primary Purpose:
The Maintenance Electrician/Mechanic will be responsible for general maintenance functions, preventative maintenance, and repair of manufacturing equipment, including electrical, pneumatic, vacuum, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Install, service, troubleshoot, and repair machine control and power transmission components Diagnose malfunctioning systems and components Ensure operation of mechanical and electrical equipment through preventive maintenance and troubleshooting Perform welding and fabrication of custom parts Maintain clear communication with supervisors and production regarding equipment status Provide proper record keeping and documentation for machinery and facility files Perform installation, service, and repairs to buildings, facilities, and grounds Maintain equipment, parts, and supplies inventories Operate and maintain a variety of tools and equipment Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical installations and equipment Demonstrated experience in electrical and/or electronic and mechanical maintenance Working knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems Oregon PJ, PS, or J Electrical license required High School diploma or GED preferred Schedule:
Swing Shift - Monday-Thursday ($1.00/hr. shift differential) Weekend Day Shift - Friday-Sunday ($1.25/hr. shift differential) Weekend Graveyard Shift - Friday-Sunday ($2.50/hr. shift differential) Must be available to handle weekend and emergency calls on a rotating basis Overtime is required as needed This is a full-time position.
