About the Role: As a Warehouse Selector at Sysco, you will play a vital role in providing essential foodservice supplies to local venues. Your responsibilities will include: Physically selecting and preparing orders for delivery. Utilizing electric pallet jacks and/or forklifts to transport products. Building and organizing customer orders efficiently. Performing additional tasks as needed. Be prepared to work in varying temperatures, including refrigerated and frozen environments. Your role will be active and physical, contributing to the smooth operation of our supply chain. Minimum Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years old. No experience required; but an active approach to work is essential. Ability to lift products weighing between 10lbs and 100lbs regularly. Capability to reach up to 72 inches and perform bending and twisting movements. Willingness to work in extreme temperature conditions. A commitment to being on your feet for 10 to 12 hours daily. Preferred Qualifications: 1 year of experience operating an electric pallet jack or forklift. Background in warehouse, military, or other physically demanding roles.
