A growing civil and geotechnical engineering firm is seeking a dynamic Project Manager to lead and expand its operations in Nashville, TN. This is a high-impact leadership role with a clear path to becoming the Business Unit Leader for the region. The ideal candidate will bring technical expertise, business development acumen, and a passion for building strong client relationships in the civil, transportation, airport, and construction materials testing (CMT) sectors.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and grow the civil, transportation, airport, and CMT business in the Nashville market Manage project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution Prepare proposals and oversee active projects from inception to completion Supervise field and lab staff, ensuring quality and compliance Maintain and develop client relationships to drive regional growth Ensure adherence to ASTM, AASHTO, TDOT, and CMT standards
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management Active Professional Engineer (PE) license required Minimum 5 years of experience in civil engineering, transportation, airport projects, and materials testing Strong leadership and team management experience Deep knowledge of ASTM, AASHTO, TDOT, and CMT protocols Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deliver results
