We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Manufacturing Master Scheduler to develop, manage, and maintain the master production schedule to meet customer demands, optimize manufacturing efficiency, and ensure timely delivery. This role plays a critical part in balancing/developing capacity and demand while collaborating with multiple departments including production, engineering, sales/pms, and maintenance. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain the Master Production Schedule (MPS) based on demand forecasts, customer orders, inventory targets, and production capacity. Collaborate with Production Planning, Procurement, Sales, and Inventory Control to ensure alignment of schedules with business goals. Analyze current methods of production scheduling and inventory management then execute a plan to tie all systems together. Analyze capacity and resource constraints and adjust schedules to meet production and delivery targets. Monitor material availability and coordinate with procurement to avoid shortages or overages. Review and respond to changes in demand, supply, or capacity, updating the schedule as necessary. Lead weekly production planning meetings to communicate schedule updates, priorities, and potential issues. Generate reports and KPIs related to production scheduling, capacity planning, and schedule adherence. Continuously improve scheduling processes to increase efficiency, reduce lead times, and support lean manufacturing initiatives. Support ERP/MRP system maintenance and improvements as related to scheduling. Lead operational planning for orders not yet in production, ensuring readiness and efficiency. Communicate Capacity and utilization updates across the organization. Complete other duties as assigned. Education and Experience: Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Industrial Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). 3+ years of experience in production scheduling or planning in a manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of MRP/ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, or similar). Solid knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials planning, and supply chain principles. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate across departments. Proficiency in Excel and other scheduling tools. Experience with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement initiatives. Precast concrete or construction experience preferred but not required.
