Job Title: IT Project Manager (Migration & Decommissioning)
Location: Remote (Preferred CST Time Zone: 8 AM 5 PM)
Job Description
We are seeking an IT Project Manager with 35 years of experience to support enterprise-level projects focused on migration and decommissioning. This role requires strong coordination, tracking, documentation, and reporting skills to ensure project deliverables are met on time and within scope.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain project plans around migration and decommissioning efforts. Drive heavy coordination across multiple teams and stakeholders. Manage and track project progress, risks, and issues. Prepare and deliver weekly/monthly reports and dashboards on project status. Ensure proper documentation is created, maintained, and aligned with PMO standards. Implement and evaluate PMO processes and best practices. Support financial analysis and budgeting for IT projects. Monitor and report on IT program/project metrics Ensure teams stick to plans, meet deadlines, and deliverables. Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize tasks and manage resources.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
35 years of IT Project Management experience (enterprise environment preferred). Proven experience in migration and decommissioning projects. Strong expertise in coordination, documentation, and reporting. Familiarity with IT costing and budgeting. Experience implementing PMO processes, tools, and best practices. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage deadlines.
Nice-to-Have:
PMP or equivalent certification. Prior experience in large-scale IT infrastructure projects.
