Team Lead - Loader/Unloader
We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Team Lead - Loader/Unloader. This role involves loading and unloading goods or materials from trucks, sorting and packing goods, and performing regular inventory checks. Successful candidates are expected to be efficient, observant, and have a strong commitment to safety. Responsibilities
Load and unload materials from trucks, verifying their contents against shipping invoices. Maintain a clean and safe working environment, complying with safety regulations. Sort, pack, wrap, tie, and label products as per company procedures. Ensure proper handling and delivery of sensitive materials with authorization if necessary. Utilize hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, conveyors, or other handling equipment to move material to and from trucks within the storage facility. Perform regular inventory checks and report any discrepancies to the management. Coordinate with warehouse staff for the placement of goods. Comply with company policies and legal guidelines. Maintain communication with warehouse staff to ensure proper working order. Qualifications
Prior experience in a similar role is preferred. Ability to lift heavy objects and operate warehouse machinery safely. Good understanding of warehouse safety regulations and procedures. Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team. High school diploma or equivalent educational level. Forklift certification is a plus. Compensation / Pay Rate (Up To): $17.50 - $18.50 Per Hour
