Project Manager

Manages multiple projects simultaneously within the constraints of scope, quality, time, and cost, using established guidelines and approved methodologies to deliver specific requirements and meet customer satisfaction. Primary Responsibilities and Accountabilities: Assemble, within the support of Project Sponsor(s), directors and managers, all necessary resources and services needed to perform all project activities. Lead/facilitate the project team through the project chartering and planning processes building commitment to the charter and plan. Work closely with activity managers to plan, schedule and coordinate project tasks. Monitor and manage efforts of project team, including both internal and external resources (vendors/consultants) to complete assigned project tasks. Act as liaison and project contact person for external resources. Conduct scheduled, periodic meetings with the Project Team and Project Sponsors. Identify and diagnose problems and take corrective action as required. Manage deviations from plan; conflict/crises. Perform high-level analysis required to define project scope. Ensure project scope, objectives, success criteria, constraints, risks and key stakeholders are clearly defined. Create and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, issue and risk logs, agendas, minutes, status reports, presentations and other project or company specific deliverables as may be required for project initiation, planning, execution/control and closure. Continuously verify scope. Manage trade-offs between scope, quality, time and cost. Communicate change to project scope; renegotiate deadlines when changes occur, assist in the removal of obstacles. Report project status to Project Sponsors and Team Members on a regular and timely basis and ensure accurate understanding of the project status including risks within the project that may affect deadlines. Escalate timely and appropriately unresolved issues and decisions. Conclude the work upon completion or premature cessation of project. Formalize acceptance of project and bring it to closure. Ensure satisfactory transfer of "care, custody and control" of product or service upon satisfaction. Close project documentation and archive appropriate records.
