PeopleShare is seeking an experienced Material Handler and Machine Operator to join our global recycling manufacturing team, where you'll play a key role in maintaining and optimizing the daily operations of production. Schedule: 7pm-7am or 7am-7pm on a 223 schedule.
Get your schedule for the whole year! Must Train on first shift for 2 weeks: 7am - 3:30pm
Pay Rate: $19.32 - $20.32 Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401K Benefits with 4% company contribution when converted to the company! Weekly Pay and medical benefits during the temp to hire period. Local to Reading, PA!
Material Handler Job Description:
• Follow all applicable plant rules, maintenance and safety rules • Responsible for transporting material as directed using a forklift and clamp truck • Complete production records • Responsible for housekeeping within the entire sorting area. This includes heavy sweeping and shoveling debris off the floor • Responsible for reporting all necessary maintenance repair items and safety concerns to the Supervisor • Responsible for checking and maintaining the performance of all conveyors • Perform other duties as assigned Machine Operator Job Description:
• Ensure processes, on the assigned lines, run stable at standard speed and output.
• Use instruments, machine readings, audits, and inspections to verify quality specifications compliance. Document
results on time per process records required
• Have a working knowledge of machines
• Operate and make standard process adjustments as needed, while maintaining Process Parameters Sheet (PPS)
compliance, to ensure product quality, process stability, and output
• Perform and document Operator level equipment preventive maintenance (PM)
• Perform process PM (i.e. change filters, change dust collection pots, clean out piping buildup, etc.) Material Handler/Machine Operator Job Requirements:
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent • 1 year minimum of forklift experience required for material handlers • Must have effective written and verbal communication skills in English
• Minimum of 1-2 years’ machine operating experience
