Job Summary: We're looking for an experienced FSQA Manager to lead our Quality and Food Safety programs across a diverse food manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for driving compliance with USDA, FDA, SQF, and customer requirements while developing and mentoring a strong QA team. Job Duties:
Lead the Quality and Food Safety teams, including staffing, training, coaching, and development. Oversee HACCP/HARPC, GMPs, SSOPs, allergen control, sanitation, and other key food safety programs. Manage audits and inspections from USDA, FDA, customers, and third-party organizations. Conduct root cause analyses, resolve customer complaints, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Oversee environmental monitoring, product testing, and in-process evaluations to ensure compliance and customer satisfaction. Partner with Operations, R&D, Engineering, Maintenance, Sales, and Purchasing to improve processes and support new product launches. Report key quality and food safety metrics to leadership and corporate teams. Stay current with evolving food safety regulations and industry best practices. Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, Public Health, or a related field. 5+ years of QA/food safety experience in a food manufacturing environment. 3+ years in a leadership role managing teams. Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMP, SSOP, USDA, FDA, and SQF requirements. Proven problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills. SQF Practitioner Certification preferred.
