Position Summary:

Storm Peak Brewing is seeking talented line cooks for our new tasting room location at the base of steamboat ski resort. Our menu consists of beer forward dishes, made from scratch, in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Line cooks will be expected to prepare dishes according to the recipes and standards of the head chef. This includes cooking food to the appropriate temperature, seasoning it correctly, and plating it in a visually appealing manner. Consistency in flavor and presentation is paramount. They are also responsible for maintaining an inventory of their station's supplies by ensuring their station is fully stocked with all the necessary ingredients and communicating with the chef when ingredients run out and need to be ordered. Required Skills and Qualifications: • 2 years minimum cooking experience in commercial kitchen/restaurant setting (willing to train passionate candidates that can't meet minimum requirement). • Ability to stand for 8-10 hours at a time • Able to lift 100 lbs • Available 40 hours a week • Available nights, weekends and holidays • Proficient knife skills • Ability to read and follow recipes accurately • Complete SERVSAFE food safety training and maintain certified status • Must have reliable transportation year round • Must have working smartphone for email communications, texts, digital scheduling system and digital payroll system Maintaining Cleanliness and Hygiene:

A clean and organized workstation is essential in a professional kitchen. Line cooks are responsible for sanitizing their tools and surfaces, adhering to food safety regulations, and disposing of waste appropriately. This ensures the kitchen operates efficiently and prevents cross-contamination or foodborne illnesses. Clean body, hands, fingernails, clothing and accessories are required for food safety.

$21 - $24 per hour
