municipal water and wastewater design . This is a

Engineer-in-Training
or an experienced
Professional Engineer , youll work on impactful infrastructure projects that serve local
communitiesdesigning
and improving
water treatment plants, wastewater treatment facilities, pump stations, storage facilities, and distribution systems . Key Responsibilities For Civil EIT: Assist in developing
project deliverables , including engineering plans, specifications, and reports for municipal water/wastewater systems. Support the design of treatment plants, pump stations, pipelines, and related infrastructure. Utilize software tools (Civil 3D, AutoCAD, WaterCAD, ArcGIS, HEC-RAS, etc.) to produce high-quality engineering designs. For Civil PE: Lead and oversee project scheduling, budgeting, and progress reporting. Manage construction administration tasks, including submittals, contracts, bidding, and pay applications. Supervise and mentor junior engineers (EITs) and coordinate with subcontractors, inspectors, and stakeholders. Ensure projects meet technical, budgetary, and regulatory requirements. Required Qualifications For Both Roles: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Masters preferred). Civil EIT : EIT certification and
1+ years
of experience in municipal water/wastewater design. Civil PE : Active Texas PE license and
5+ years
of experience in municipal water/wastewater design. Proficiency with engineering design software such as
Civil 3D, AutoCAD, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, WaterCAD, ArcGIS , or similar hydraulic modeling tools. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities. Preferred Qualifications Experience in drainage design and permitting. Previous work with Texas municipalities or
Municipal Utility Districts (MUDs) . Project management experience in public infrastructure projects.
