Job Description Salary: We are seeking a highly skilled and discreet Finance Manager to oversee the financial operations of a private family office. This role requires a strategic thinker with deep experience in managing private wealth, payroll administration, and multi-entity financial reporting. Key Responsibilities Prepare and deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports across multiple entities (LLCs, trusts, foundations). Oversee payroll processing and compliance, including coordination with HR, tax filings, and year-end statements (W-2s, 1099s). Administer compensation, bonuses, reimbursements, and benefit contributions for household and office staff. Lead budgeting, cash flow planning, and financial forecasting; provide variance analysis and strategic insights. Liaise with external CPAs, investment advisors, legal counsel, and insurance providers. Monitor and reconcile investment activity across asset classes (real estate, private equity, marketable securities). Manage general ledger bookkeeping, journal entries, and reconciliations; supervise internal or outsourced bookkeeping teams. Maintain financial recordkeeping systems for payroll, expenses, and disbursements. Support estate planning, tax preparation, and philanthropic initiatives. Identify and implement improvements to internal controls, financial systems, and reporting processes.

Qualifications Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA or MBA strongly preferred. Minimum 7 years of financial management experience, ideally within a family office or UHNW private environment. Expertise in payroll systems and U.S. payroll tax obligations. Strong understanding of multi-entity structures, private investments, and employee classifications. High integrity and commitment to confidentiality. Proficiency in Excel and accounting platforms (QuickBooks, Sage Intacct, NetSuite). Exceptional communication skills and professional demeanor.
