We are seeking an experienced

Mechanical Foreman

to lead operations on underground and above-ground utility projects. This position is ideal for professionals with a strong background in mechanical systems related to civil infrastructure, utility installation, and coordination with multi-disciplinary teams on complex job sites. Candidates must have experience with both underground and above-ground piping, including mechanical joint installations for underground systems and flanged joints for above-ground applications. Key Responsibilities

Supervise mechanical crews on underground and above-ground utility installations (water, sewer, storm, gas, etc.)

Coordinate daily field operations, scheduling, and equipment usage

Interpret utility plans, mechanical schematics, and construction drawings

Ensure proper installation of piping systems, fittings, and related mechanical components

Oversee testing, commissioning, and inspection processes

Monitor material usage and inventory control

Collaborate with engineers, inspectors, and subcontractors on project specifications

Enforce job site safety, environmental, and quality standards

Maintain accurate daily reports, timecards, and project logs

Support troubleshooting, repairs, and adjustments during construction

Qualifications

4+ years of experience as a Mechanical Foreman in utility infrastructure

Experience with both underground (mechanical joint) and above-ground (flanged) piping systems. Strong knowledge of underground and above-ground utility systems

Proficient in interpreting blueprints, mechanical drawings, and utility plans

Solid understanding of mechanical codes, installation practices, and safety regulations

Ability to lead and motivate teams in fast-paced environments

Valid driver's license

Physical Requirements

Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions

Comfortable working in trenches, manholes, and elevated areas

Physically capable of standing, walking, climbing, and lifting as needed
