nKey Responsibilities

Schedule and cancel patient appointments

Check patients in and out, verify insurance and demographics
n n - n
Collect co-payments, coinsurance, and outstanding balances
n n - n
Enter charges and payments accurately
n n - n
Answer phones and assist with administrative duties
n n - n
Take patient histories and vital signs
n n - n
Prepare exam and treatment rooms with necessary instruments
n n - n
Administer injections and assist with minor procedures
n n - n
Apply casts, splints, and dressings as needed
n n - n
Sterilize and maintain supplies and equipment
n n - n
Collect patient specimens when required
n n - n
Support continuity of care and coordinate referrals
n n - n
Participate in data collection and reporting for Patient-Centered Medical Home initiatives

Adhere to all practice policies, procedures, and compliance standards

Qualifications

- n
Minimum 1 year of experience in medical assisting or direct patient care
n n - n
Medical Assistant Certification required (NCRMA, RMA, CCMA, CMA, NCMA, or OE accepted)

OR
n n - n
Recent graduates (within 12 months) must obtain certification within 60 days of hire

OR
n n - n
Candidates with 1+ year of MA experience must obtain certification within 1 year of hire

nPay and Benefits
nThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.
nEligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
