We're seekinga Non-Sterile CompoundingPharmacy Techfor a Permanent / Direct Hire opportunity, in Miami, FL. This is a full-time, Day-Shiftposition M-F with NO weekends. If you have experiencecompounding in a Non-Retail setting - we encourage you to apply today! Responsibilities: Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently. Provide patient care by answering questions, addressing concerns, and ensuring proper medication use. Maintain accurate patient records and manage inventory of pharmaceuticals. Utilize aseptic techniques when compounding non-sterile products. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to support patient treatment plans in acute care settings. Ensure compliance with all pharmacy regulations, policies, and procedures. Educate patients on medication administration methods, including inhalation techniques. Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance pharmacy skills. Skills Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to pharmacy practices. Proficiency in patient service, demonstrating empathy and effective communication skills. Experience working in a compounding pharmacy Familiarity with aseptic technique and the preparation of non-sterilemedications. comfortable with both the preparation ofnon sterile compounds Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent organizational skills for managing multiple tasks efficiently. Commitment to providing high-quality patient care within a collaborative team setting. Qualifications: FL Pharmacy Technician License in good standing Non-Sterile Compounding Experience OUTSIDE of a general Retail setting Experience compounding: creams, gels, ointments, capsules etc. High School Diploma or equivalent Fluent in English & Spanish (is preferred but not required) We are reviewing candidates and setting up interviews immediately.
